Baby Hats - Zaaberry

I have been looking for a pattern for baby hats to make for my little sister soon-to-be-born and just couldn't find a good one. Recently I found a tutorial to make adorable baby hats on http://zaaberry.blogspot.com.au and I decided to give it a try. A while ago a brought some fluffy fabric home from textiles class and it has been sitting in my cupboard ever since. I pulled it out today and it was perfect! I cut out the pattern pieces and started the hat. It was easy to do and looked great!

It is super cute and really simple to make! I recommmend giving it a go if you have a little baby in your life... I can't wait to try it on her tiny head!

Aspiring Artist

I am sorry I haven't been on here for such a long time. A lot has been happening including moving schools. If you have read my bio you will know. (A huge success!) Anyway recently I have been trying out a new drawing style and it has been a huge success so far. I have gained over 10 followers in the last week or so on my Instagram account @sarayacatherine. I even had a lady repost one of my drawings of her three sweeties... Thank you so much @adelecoelho, it made my day! I have noticed an improvement in how far I have come in the last coupe of months. And the love I have for drawing has grown and grown. My goal one day is to have a business where I sell my work and draw people's families for a price. It would be my dream job... (I would get to spend my time doing what I love!)

I started off my art with drawing a picture of +Chloe and Beans beautiful children. I received many positive comments and it got me thinking, what else can I do with this. I continued on to draw other families that I follow on Instagram. Many of them commented and liked the pictures. It kept me going and I began to get more and more excited every time I posted a picture of one of my drawings. It began like my career checking every possible moment if anyone had commented on my posts. @mypetalandpeach was one who really excited me, she commented on many of my pictures and then requested to follow me. I was so happy when I kept receiving follow requests and accepted every one of them. Below I have included a few of my favourite drawings I have done.

Well I'm sorry to write such a long post but I wanted to really thank all those lovely people who have encouraged me and helped me continue to draw even when I felt like giving up. (Which isn't often mind you) I will continue to post on here when I have time.
